The DLT Community began as a crucial solution to help parents and children after the effects that the 2020 Pandemic has had on education, forcing schools to close and provide a new way of education called "Distance Learning."
Co Founders Leeron Tal Dvir and Rick Barclay, both educators and long-time friends knew their experience, passion, training, and heart can create a community that parents, students, and educators all need. We're all in this together.
LEERON TAL DVIR
Since 2011 Leeron Tal Dvir worked as the Director of the Early Childhood Center at Burbank Temple Emanu El where she updated and improved the curriculum and quality of the school, physically expanded the space, and tripled enrollment. She is known in the field as an experienced Child Development expert that takes pride in creating a warm and developmentally appropriate environment for the children in her care. Leeron has over 15 years of experience educating at preschools throughout the San Fernando and Conejo valley as a teacher and administrator.
In addition to her career in Early Childhood, Leeron worked in the entertainment industry providing Public Relations and Marketing for a long list of clients ranging in products, fashion, film, and talent.
Leeron is a connector and is best at bringing communities and like-minded people together. She is an innovative and creative thinker.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Leeron has been a resident of Burbank, California since 2012, Leeron has become an active leader in the community. She lives with her two sons ages 6 and 10 and their yellow lab Lucy.
Partner, Education Director
Rick Barclay has 20+ years of experience as teacher/ administrator in TK-12 public and charter education.
He is a self-directed, resourceful and enthusiastic school administrator with a genuine interest in handling support operations to foster students’ cognitive and social growth. His strong passion for literacy coupled with exceptional knowledge of handling functions to ensure an environment conducive to learning and growth.
Rick has a track record of organizing administrative support systems for staff and students with the view to enable effective operations.
A proven, dynamic leader who is well-versed in designing and implementing cutting edge curriculum while developing broad reaching staff and community buy-in.
Rick resides in Lawndale, California with his wife,18- month old daughter, and dog named Cub.
