DLT COMMUNITY COMMANDMENTS
While anything outside of complete self-isolation poses a risk of transmission, at DLT Community we have committed to taking every step possible to protect all members of this community- staff, students, and parents.
The following are our Commandments that require the honesty and awareness of both our staff and participating families to truly be effective. This means if you feel ill or believe you have been exposed to someone that has tested positive for COVID-19, you must notify our office so that we can make safe arrangements.
All members of the DLT Community (staff and participants) must agree to always wear a mask in public, practice social distancing, and engage in frequent hand-washing in their daily lives. Avoiding large crowds and enclosed spaces is highly suggested.
Upon arrival at each session, guides will bring a contact-less thermometer and take their own temperature, as well as all people (children and adults) present in the home. Following CDC guidelines, if anyone's temperature reads 100.4 or higher, that person will be asked to leave immediately. If the guide has a temp of 100.4 or higher, that session will be cancelled/postponed.
Staff and children in pods will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
All students and children must wash their hands upon arrival, and throughout the day, including before and after meal-times.
Snack and/or lunch should not be shared among children. DLT advises that each child bring their own lunchbox and water bottle for the day.
All staff agree to mandatory COVID-19 testing regularly. The frequency will vary based on the current situation and number of cases in the surrounding area.
